Ted Dixon- President / CEO
Ted and his wife Nancy founded Pro-Star Auto Service & Towing in September 1993 with 35 years of management experience. Ted has served as director in the Greater Bay Area chapter of the CTTA, training and education committee, and a term on the State Level Executive Committee. Ted is also a pioneer for the AAA Advisory Group which meets regularly with executives from AAA for the purpose of growing the towing industry. Pro-Star has won prestigious Gold, Silver and Bronze AAA Service Provider of Excellence Award given to the top three AAA contract stations expanding throughout Canada and the U.S.

Michael Dixon - General Manager
Mike joined Pro-Star Towing & Auto Service in 1994 bringing to the company more than 20years of banking and finance management experience. As General Manager, Mike performs a wide variety of duties including human resources, accounting and OSHA. Mike is the company’s Safety Manager, drug and alcohol awareness supervisor and is responsible for network and IT systems. He is certified in CTTA light Duty Level 1 Recovery Training and as a California State Automobile Association (an affiliate of AAA) D/200 Remote Facility Dispatcher.

Dean Blomquist – VP Towing operations
Joining Pro-Star in 1998 with over 25 years of towing industry experience; Dean brings a level of knowledge that keeps day to day operations to the highest standards. Serving currently as the 1st vice president of the Greater Bay Area CTTA chapter, Dean is also the Past President of the Chamber of Commerce for the city of Milpitas and past president of the Greater Bay Area chapter of CTTA. Dean is highly trained in over 40 various certifications and qualifications. He is responsible for the entire outcome of the day to day operations.

David Dixon – Manager
David brings with him a degree from Wyotech’s Automotive and Service Writer program. He has numerous certifications from AAA, CTTA, Driver 24hr Safety, D/2000 Remote Dispatch and others. He holds a level 1 and 6 certification through CTTA training for light, medium, and heavy duty towing and recovery. David is currently a member of the State Board of Directors of the CTTA and the 2nd Vice President of the Greater Bay Area Chapter. David’s position includes lien sales, managing our remote dispatch, service writing, and working closely with our towing operators, automotive repair technicians and management.

Doug Dixon- Manager
Doug is the newest member to the Pro-Star management staff. He brings with him a Business degree from Point Loma Nazarene University. He has numerous certifications from AAA, CTTA, and Club Assist. Among other duties Doug is the Battery Service manager for Pro-Star Towing, he insures the program is kept the standards set by Pro-Star, AAA, and Club Assist. Doug is involved in every aspect of Pro-Star from Human Resource, dispatch, facilities, battery program, and many others.

Mark Thorson – Auto Service Manager
Mark is an ASE Certified Master Technician with over 35 years experience in the automotive repair industry. Mark and his staff of ASE Certified Mechanics were instrumental in Pro-Star Auto Services’ honorable designation as an AAA Approved Auto Repair Facility. Thanks to Mark and his staff Pro-Star Auto Service has been awarded 100% Customer Satisfaction each month for the last several years. Mark currently oversees both repair facilities, insuring they stay to the highest standards for both Pro-Star and AAA.

Dave Sanchez – Service Consultant
Dave has 35 years experience in the Auto Service industry. He has an extensive customer service background with a past in RV sales and services. He has many years dealership experience and is ASE Certified. Dave oversees the day-to-day activity at Pro-Star Auto Service Milpitas. Dave works closely with Mark to insure the same level of quality and service are produced from both locations.
